I am having a hard time finding a wall pedestal for a mule deer with a 25" neck. There are plenty of whitetail form that size. Could a guy use a whitetail form and if so what would you have to do to make it work?

To alter a whitetail form to a mule deer form, you will need to get a muley changeout head with the right e/n measurement, then change it out and sculpt and rasp to make the transision smooth
Call Research and have them make you one . A whitetail and a mule deer dont look anything alike . Pete have you ever thought about taking a standard from and making it a pedestal ?
Trufitt has some great muledeer wall peds.theres one thats 7 3/4 x 24.5, that should look good.page 12 in their newest catalog.
