does anyone have step by step instructions for skinning a coyote head. I'm doing a shoulder mount for my fish and wildlife class and have no clue what to do from right behind the ears

When you are skinning anything, your blade needs to be as close to the skull as possible, also keep tension on the hide and you will see a thin white membrane, this is where you cut. If you are not sure how to skin it, you are going to need a lot more help to get it mounted, I would freeze it and get some good instructional material before going much further.
