Hey Joe, I have two that I can think of, but not in quebec. I've hunted Quebec and the Northwest Territories, and there was no comparison in trophy quality or hunt quality. The Quebec-Labrador strain of caribou has been very heavily hunted for years, and as a result, it's tough to find a bull with decent tops. The top-deficient bulls have been the main breeders for years, and if you look at pics, or watch the hunting shows, you'd see what I mean. these days, it is just as cheap to hunt the Northwest Territories, and you'll probably see more good bulls in one hunt than you'll see in ten trips to Quebec. To illustrate my point, several years ago, I hunted the NWT, and saw a total of 9 Boone and Crockett bulls, and shot the two best out of those. If your clients are serious, they should call Ameri-Cana Expeditions at 780-469-0579. Website www.ameri-cana.com They are booking agents who also run great mule deer/whitetail hunts in Alberta. Also, there is Barry Taylor's Arctic Safaris out of Yellowknife. I have misplaced his info, but you should be able to google up info on him without too much trouble. Both of these outfits are superb. Let me know if you have any questions.

Those are the two I would consider in Quebec, if $ is not a factor!

John your out in the left field. Their are more caribou then ever.
The problem is what the caribou eat and the change of migration following the food.Their is 3 sub-species in Quebec. The leaf river heard, is the biggest caribou in the world, the george river heard is the largest heard in Quebec, and the Quebec Labradoer heard is the other sub-specie.I've booked thousands of caribou hunts and hunted many times with clients since 1980. The caribou population is so good that the Quebec D.N.R. wanted to alocate hunters ( 3 ) caribou , yes 3
the problem with that is to much weight in the float planes. But the biggest problem is the camps are now the the wrong spot.I hunted one year with Arthur Taillon James Bay Outfitters. and as John said not so many caribou. Earl and I the pilot went for a plane ride. We found the heard about 40 miles from us, not coming in any direction of the camps. When your in camp and see 100 or so a day , your seeing the edge of the heard, big bull are usualy the last to come through.
With our plane ride , the heard was 20 miles wide and 50 miles long.
The first 2 weeks of September is usealy the best time to hit the migration. North west of the leaf river West of ungava bay.Mirage is good for their winter hunts, but young animals.E-mail me if you want info to book a hunt.
