What kind of pot/bucket do you guys use to boil moose skulls. I have a galvinzied wash tub but because of the combination of there heads being so big and their horns laying out flat I can't fit it into my pot. What are you guys using?

I hack the horns off and re install them with pins later. I do this with elk too. Joe
I have an old 250 gallon fuel oil tank that i had cut in half. Still i have to fill the tank to the top most times just to cover the skull because as you say the antlers lay out so flat i cannot get them in the tank. I also wrap the part of the antlers that hang over the side with aluminum foil so they don't get burnt or smoked up too bad. MERRY CHRISTMAS Jeff <><
