Sorry, I should have answered your question the first time instead of going on about them!
You don't need to do anything special; just skin them off carefully with the cape.
You can run a scalpel under the horn and it will pop off the bone nub.
Leave them on the cape and tan normally.
When mounting just put a little ball of clay on the nub and seat the horns on it while sewing up the cape.
Hey, how do I get the smell out of the horns so I can european mount them?
