I am wondering what the paint schedule is for a spotted fallow deer, and also how to get the horns off of a black buck, texas dall and mouflon sheep wont rot off! Any easier way?

get a good look at the fallow while you were capeing it? Just start mixing until you get the color you want. I start with a light color and layer on darker colors until I get what I am after. On the horns I usually slip them off. First I drill 3 holes in each base, then I take a plastic bag and pull the end of the horns through the corners to a few inches to the bases. Then I wrap the remainder of the bag around the skull plate and tape around the bases and skull plate. I then hang them off the ground in the sun and wait a couple of weeks or so. When loose, slip off, cut bases shorter and clean up.
