I'm mounting a black bear with DP. On the nose the guide cut a quarter size hole in the snout (short hair)any Ideas on how to hide it. Also a bit of hair slipped from the same area. I've tried glue befor, worked pretty good Any other Ideas on what I could do?
Thanks, Ron

First off DP is a bad Idea on bears. NOt that it will not preserve a bear. It will work fine. NO matter what deoderizing process you use the bear comes through on humid days.
Put a fairly fast set adheasive on the slip area. push the brush into it and let set. cut the bristles off then trim as necessary, and groom before adheasive totaly hardens. I like the cheep fine gold colored bristled brushes. the texture seems perfect for a bear. you can then use a spray on dye to color.

DP on Bear is a NO NO in my oppinion

Even after they are mounted and dryed.....you get a wet humid day and you get a stinky smelly sweating bear....GL....TD
