We have never done a bison and was looking for the average price to charge for mounting a 4 year old barn yard buffalo and also sending the rest of the hide in to be tanned? We charge $415 ( High for our area ) for deer shoulder mounts and do alot of them - we dont want to work for nothing ! Any suggestions?

That body skin is going to be based on the square foot. Contact your tannery and see what they charge, then double it. You're going to have a job fleshing, salting, and SHIPPING that thing. BTW, sounds like your deer prices are exceptionally fair so just look at that buffalo form and tell me how many whitetails that is. LOL
3 or 4 a year and get 1000 for the shoulder mount and if it comes in(which they always do) with the head and hide I charge 75 to cape the head out. Ever try rolling around the head of an 1800 buffalo? You will get your workout for the day. By the way I would highly recomend Tom Whickman's form from McKenzie most accurate I have used. Enjoy.

We charge $1400.00 for a shoulder mount. When i have the back half of the hide tanned its $75.00 per square foot. Shipping isnt cheap.

and charge $1000 - they are a bear to do
but i work by my self and would never be able to do a large bull i send the big ones to the tannery. i charge 1250 for bulls 1150 for cows.
