i have a set of velvet horns that i sprayed several times with preserve it and left in the freezer now for over a year. will these be alright to mount now? do i need to spray them again before mounting? thanks doug

You need to do more than spray them with preservz-it. They either need to be freezed-dried or completely embalmed. If you are embalming them, you need to get all the blood/fluids out from under the velvet and inject it well with preservz-it or better yet formaldehyde. Then, brush a good coat of the preservz-it or formaldehyde over the outside of the velvet.

your horns would be freezer durnt by now,so remove them from the freezer and put it on your wouk bench , at room temp at least.
Next day see if the are dried out and hard every were , iwould say they are hard like a rock by now.
