Last week on my deer lease I found a really nice 10 pointer skull that must have died a least a year or two ago. I'm not sure how long it has been dead, but the skull looks like it could mounted on the wall right now. There are some (very little)dried skin still on it and there apears to be some more inside the cranial cavity. There is no noticable smell so I assume most of the fleah has dried.
My question is not about whitening, but what could I use on it to make its pretty clean and will not smell up my den?
Keep in mind I'm not a texidermist and I do not plan to go out and buy any expensive chemicals.
Thanks for the insight!
