If you had looked up forms in a catalog, you would have found that those measurements will match a Greater(small one). A lesser is a whitetail size animal, more like 7 X 19.

The Kudu horns you have there are a Young Subadult Kudu.
It depends on Where he was shot as to the classification of Cape Kudu, Southern Greater, or Northern Greater Kudu.

The horns of a Lesser Kudu are a lot smaller.
