Can anyone recommend a taxidermist that does EXCELLENT Bear head or shoulder Mounts? Lifelike work.

Im in Northern Michigan and have done a lot of bear work. Im a full time taxidermist and do all my own tanning. I get 375.00 for a closed mouth bear shoulder mount and add 100.00 for open mouth. 231-627-6863 Migda's Taxidermy....Jeff Migda p.s. this number is my shop number which im at daily 9-6.

Save yourself some greif and find a taxidermist in your area. Do a serch on the internet and/or check the yellow pages to get a list of potential taxidermists. Call them and make arrangments to visit their studios where you can meet them in person and check out their work. Bring some magazine photos of a closeup shots of a bears face. Bring a flashlight and look into the ears and nose and inspect around the eyes. Everything should apear lifelike. If you see cracking or sloppy looking work, then don't hire them. Remember that you often get what you pay for. I don't do bear heads commercially.
