Snow white moose antlers after velvet removed

Anyone colored moose antlers? I know theres tons of info on deer antler coloring,nothing on moose in search.Not sure if the antler bone draws stains the same?Thought possibly air brushing them?
Any positive input would be great.

You can also check out Taxidermy Today Volume 25 #6. Nov.-Dec. 2003 issue if you have it. There is one on doing Caribou antlers. I used this methed with GREAT results and I'm just a rookie hobbyest. You basically use a couple coats of Kiltz 2 primer then seal it with Krylon Matte finish. Then paint on some Minwax Special walnut and wipe it off before it dries totally. Seal it again with Krylon. Next, drybrush the antlers with Minwax Jacobean and wipe off the excess. Seal again with krylon. After that I like to take some Burnt Umber oilpaints and darken the deep areas(like between the antler burrs) Lightly buff with some #000 steel wool and one last coat of Krylon. I always had great results.
