I don't mount many whitetail deer as I am mostly into African and exotics. But I find Ben's forms to be of excellent quality with superior detail. Ben also sells a form ruffer unlike anything you've used so far. This thing is a roller that produces hundreds of little holes in the form. You do not lose any detail...and the neatest thing is you don't lose the slick surface of the form. Now talk about taxiing a skin. When you apply your glue it fills all the little holes and I believe it actually sucks the skin down to the form. I can't say enough about this form rougher. Give it a try.
