Removing Impala Horns

I just recieve an african shipment and the impala horns haven't been removed from the cores. They are a little loose and appear to have been boiled quite a bit. Any suggestions for getting them off.

I just recieved my first shipment a few weeks ago. I was told that Impala horns won't come off, because of how long the core was and how spiralled the horns were. Mine were off when I got them.

They can come off ,but a lot of work , I seen it in Africa a taxidermist that would boil them and then remove them. I get a lot of african game in,don't worry about it. Also at times , you may get kudu , waterbuck, and the horns will not come off the core, this is because the animal is old and the horns stopped growing , or the horns get damaged when growing.

some impala horns do not come off they have been treated with bug agent there though so you dont have to worry just run bondo under the horn to tighten them up!
