They want to add all of these extra stamps to everything now and jack most everything up about 10 bucks a shot. I know what i am going to do and that is do my part to bankrupt the nazi's. But i can not make a major impact all by myself. If all of us resident PA hunters could stand together for just one season and show them who they really work for maybe we could all get through to them. They have a proposal to charge for a stamp to use state game lands now... what the hell is that. I can remember for the longest time an adult resident licence costing 11.75 here now it is 20.00, they are selling timber off of the game lands and getting mineral royalties from natural gas off of the game lands and they say they are going broke. Maybe someone forgot to balance the checkbook in that office. But if you feel the same way lets do this together. Thanks,

I just bought my license here in Montana.It was $132.That includes 1 deer(I said 1 deer)1 elk,1 bear and 1 mtn lion plus fishing and trapping.The deer is a gimme,I might get a bear,probably won't get an elk or mountain lion.I've lived in other states with similar fees.I've also lived and hunted in PA and surrounding states.You really don't know how good you've got it.
with everyones attitude towards this whole thing. Everyone is saying how cheap it is, but there is no reason to make it more expensive. If you want to gather revenue put it on the non-residents. You keep increasing the resident licences and some of these guys are the ones that have large parcels of land like myself that support the deer,turkeys,waterfowl, ect. Everyone says how good we have it now but if we keep turning our heads and saying it is still cheaper that somewhere else the next time we look it wont be because we allowed it to happen.
I figured you get around to pushing my hot button. Non-residents aren't space aliens. We are U.S. citizens just like you. We just happen to live in another state, but our tax moneys damned sure get to your state as well as all the other 49. The exise tax I pay on guns, ammunition, hunting and boating supplies and some archery supplies goes to Pittman-Robinson designated holding that are disbursed to all the states.
If you want to fight injustice, why aren't you bitching about the cost of gas and it going up, on average 3 cents every day for the last month? What's causeing THAT? Why am I paying 39 cents to send a letter just so the postman can retired comfortably with full medical benefits? Why is milk costing me over $2 a gallon when the farmer who supplies it only gets 14 cents per gallon? And just why the hell am I having to pay "school tax" when I haven't had a kid in a public school in over 15 years? Plus, why am I paying school tax on property I own in another state where I'm a NON-RESIDENT?
First of all your excise tax that goes to pittman and robinson may only be fractionally distributed to other places through out the revenue hierarchy in this state. Secondly I and other resident landowners in this state are being taken down on two sides here. For one we pay real estate tax, school taxes, and county property tax to keep our properties. The same properties that provide places for wildlife to thrive through out the year that do move into other areas that others have a chance at them also wether it is on state game lands or other private ground. Now and secondly I have to pay the PGC for the priveledge to hunt on the very same peice of ground that i just spent 7300$ in taxes, 2200$ in fertilizers,1200$ lime and conditioners, plus on average of 1000$ in maintenance on my equipment,not to mention seed and deisel fuel to keep all the ground flourishing. I have to pay full boat price on that licence because i wont tell the PGC it's o.k. you can use my place as state game land and have every moron from within 100 miles come in and block my driveways and shoot into my outbuildings. I dont think so we have already played that game. So i think you should untrip your "hot button" because until you have shelled out the $$ I have to create what i have I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT. As far as cheaper gas I think we are all wishing for that and if you want cheaper milk go buy a cow. lol
