Can't get Buffalo head to whiten

I'm using the mixed paste to whiten and have never had any problems with it. But now I have a buffalo skull that just won't whiten. Any suggestions? Or should I just paint it?

H2O2 may be outdated

Get some new 40% peroxide and mix extra Basic White in with it. Paint it on the skull and set it in direct sunlight for about 30 minutes. That will whiten your teeth if you could stand it.

You dont need to spend the money for Basic White

All basic white does is hold the H202 on the bone you can use baby powder or regular talc and it does the same thing. I have even used paper towels for smaller peices. It is only a retainer for the peroxide to work. How old is the skull? If it is an older bull they sometimes get layers of tissue that is almost imposible to take off. You may need to treat it several times before it will come off. Good Luck.
