I was wondering if anyone knew what the legal aspects were to buying an Argali sheep mount. I have a guy who wants to sell me one at a good price, but he doesn't have any paperwork or anything. The US Fish and Wildlife's website just gives a lot of legal mumbo jumbo, but it doesn't make sense. I live in the lower 48 states and the mount would cross state boundaries, if that matters. Thanks.

I dought that their would be a problem, but call U.S. fish & wildlife
first and ask them , do not take a chance.
I submitted a couple of questions to USFWS before and I got nowhere. One email said that the Endangered Species Act only applies to native US species, and another email said that any sale or purchase of Argali was illegal. How in the heck are hunters bringing them back if they say it's illegal. I think they are making a big stink about it to make me "think" it's illegal, so they don't have to be specific. Any thoughts?
