Is the tear duct on a doe any more/less pronounced than it is on a buck? Is the mounting process concerning the tear duct any different than that when mounting a buck? Any input would be great! Thanks!

pronounced on a doe, and won't have to cut out most of them. On larger mature bucks, I tend to cut some of the inner skin out so there is less to tuck making a smoother looking tear duct. Also by combining a well thinned duct and cutting away excess skin you get less shrinkage, producing a better duct. A mature doe will have a smaller duct and will naturally be thinner than that of a buck. Hope this helps and enjoy.
George, I hit a doe with the car last summer, and obtained a possesion tag for the deer. I caped it out, and saved the meat, but before caping her, I took some close up pics of the eyes and facial area. Here are two pictures from this deer.
This is a Wisconsin deer, and is in it's summer to early fall coat.
