Pedestals ?

Ok, hoping for some help here.. I'm just doing a couple of pedestals. All I've done before is wall pedestals.

I've tried the search, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I need to figure out how to attach the mount to the base itself. I want to do one that will attach to a mule deer shed and the other to attach to an old fence post. I think the fence post pedestal, I can get some square tubing that will work, but the shed pedestal, I'm not sure ? Can anyone give me some insight or ideas on how I can tackle this ? Thank you big-time.

on the fence post one use a set of antler pins. Just one set.Gring out the area on the form, leave some wood drill out the upper hollow tube for two screws then bondo and screw. Then filland sand to blend. On the deer horn It depends on where you are attatching it. If it is a horn tip trim down the tip a little wider than the stud. the stud will be 9" pc. of 1/2 all thread. drill, epoxy in the hole. on the back of the form cut out a section 2"x2"X4" make a block to fit in that spot drill a 1/2 hole lenght ways hammer a nut in the top of it and glue it.then run a nut on the horn side. slip it on and SNUG up the nut till it will not rotate.

Not Quite Sure ?

I dont have any antler pins, but the square tubing is the same idea. I just need two pieces, one that will slide into another. That I understand.

The antler, I still don't quite understand. You're right, it would be the tip, I'm planning to attach to.. Not quite sure what you mean ?
