I put your mixture on a set of corsican ram horns and they turned very dark..nearly black. I know you said that they would lighten up in a few weeks. It has been well over two weeks. Is there anything I can do to speed up the lightening process? A fan or something? These horns have a crack in them that I need to fix and paint but I dont want to paint them until the linseed/turpentine lightens up. Any suggestions. I want to finish these and collect the $$$$! Thanks

Lacquer thinner should speed the process up considerably though I surprised that you'd note such a marked change.
