Do you remove the horns off an Exotic Spanish Goat like an A

We have a Spanish Goat from a game farm in Texas and dont no if the horns need to be simmered off ? Has any one ever done a shoulder mount of one of these cuties? If so what form do you suggest? McKenzie has a couple?

and microwaved the horns off in aboaut 10 minutes - no problem - customer liked the mount and he was another taxidermist

I let mine rot off. Depending on the size of the neck, mainly I like the Van Dykes forms. The 18" neck ones. Their smaller ones are not so hot. I also use the McKenzie ones, but they require a modification to the bridge of the nose and the eye brow humps ned to be filed down.

I have a Spanish Goat to do also. It is a 5 3/4 x 13. and if the wife smells goat cooking in the microwave I tell her it is just her imagination! LOL After it is off the core the can they still be boiled in Peroxide and sal soda to clean the skull plate?
