Ive been using apoxie smooth to glue my earliners. I was wondering what else I could use that wouldnt dry so fast. How would buckeye supreme be to use. Ive just been using the apoxie cuz thats what I learned on and I pre color it to a flesh color. Should I just keep using that and card my ears or try the buckeye. Thanks for any suggestions, Kevin

Buckeye supreme works very well, you may still want to card the ears for a few days.Buckeye can be pre colored with red tempra powder
You can't beat the Epo-Grip, and it can be colored !
Have 3 wt mounts from 5 to 7 years old. These were comp. mounts. None of them had any issues in the ears (several other issues maybe) Checked all 3 this AM for drumming in the ears NO DRUMMING found. Now here is the kicker: All 3 are within 5 to 7 feet from a wood stove which has a fire in it for 8 to 9 months a year. Buckeye works just fine.
Go to Wal-Mart in the caulking area get this pruduct ( DAP caulking )
get the clear, it comes out white and dries clear, use it on the back of your fish fins, hide paste , ear glue, the some thing as what the suppliers by the gallon for about $30.00
I use Ear MAgic now but when I did use earliners I used Epo-Grip Liquid Fast set, takes about 7-10 minutes to dry. It is absolutely the best adhesive for liners.
You can use carpet paste too. Cleans up with water, stays workable for about 24 hours and holds a tanned skin great.
Ear Adhesive fast set in the McKenzie catalog, EARQ or EARH. It is similiar to Magic Smooth or the old Smooth Out and it takes about 20 minutes to set up. I used to use the Epo-Grip fast set but I was never really happy with the results. I do like this stuff though. I also use Buckeye Supreme and used to use it for the ears but never really liked that either. I tried caulk a few times which is much like the Supreme just thicker.
Just a matter of personal preference I suppose. That's why so many people offer so many things.
