Stripping bear skull

I recently harvested a black bear. It isn't any kind of record but is important to me. I have the skull in the freezer now. Is there a way I can clean and strip it without spending $100 to send it to a beetle farm? I know not to boil it, but was told that if I put it in peroxide cover it and let it set a couple months it will clean the skull. Will that work? As far as the flesh is concerned does that need to be cut off before soaking it? Also what is the best way to purge the brain cavity and other orfices?
Thanks,
Pip

The orange search button will be your best friend. If the skull is important then send it to someone who cleans skulls. To have your bear beetle cleaned it would cost 50-70.00 and some will whiten for that charge as well.If you insist on doing it yourself then "Masceration" is your best bet.

Yea, I kind of found that out AFTER I posted. Sorry, and thanks for your kind reply.
