I would like to know at what degree is the base or the antler is it almost 90 degrees ? compard to a deer? THANKS

One of the basics of mounting antlered or horned animals is to take measurements before cutting off the horns or antlers. Along with the eye to nose, neck , etc. you should also take base to nose and tip to nose measurements from the right and left sides, every animal is slightly different and this allows you to mount it exactly as it was.
