first 4 horn mount, need any advice.

I am a little confused with the placement of the skull plate on a 4 horn sheep. It is not at all what I thought. If anyone has any advice on any common mistakes or what worked for you I would appreciate it. Good reference photos, including side views, would be appreciated also. I am lining up the eye sockets and bone on the forehead but the skull was cut weird.

Depending on the horn

configuration these can be a pain. The skull is usually cut weird because of that. Line it up like you are doing; sometimes you have to cut out & lower the board in the head of the form. You will probably use a lot of clay to sculpt. Some times they actually look pretty cool when done.
Have fun with it!

You are completely right

I used a ton of clay and I had to cut into the form. I guess I am doing it correctly. And it is turning out kinda pretty thanks to a beautiful black and white cape. Thanks for you help.
