I need to dust and clean my gameheads. I have been told to used compressed air then wipe down with a damp rag. I have also heard mixed results from others using WINDEX? Anybody have any better suggestions? Oh, by the way, I already used the search button and didn't find a whole lot of info. Thanks in advance. Ray

Ray,
I don't know what the mixed results are with windex but I do all my game heads and animals twice a year by just using a shop vac (going with the fur). I then spray windex on a clean cotton rag and wipe the eyes and nose (also the legs on birds) and then I buff the antlers with a 50/50 mix of boiled linseed oil and turpentine. I've been doing this for twenty + years and never had a problem. I wipe my fish down with just clean cold water and a sponge and they really look like new when done. Hope that helps. Good luck.
Mike
I'll give that a try,Thanks for the response.
Windex works great with a shop Vac..but for the finale touch I use Show Sheen on the Hair spray it on wipe off excess with a rag be careful if you use this around any hard surface you have to walk on...trust me after it drys and you walk across it ..you will be looking up from your back wondering what the hell happened LOL Linoleum is the worst! You can get the stuff at any pet store. also for the eyes try some Rain-Ex just a little makes them sparkle real purty. :-)
I absolutely HATE RAIN-EX...I just bought a car and it's on the d*** windshield..How can I get it off...Please Help me...
Thanx
I would give lacquer thinner a try, just be real careful around the painted and plastic trim and moulding areas. Just a suggestion, I haven't tried it personally.
