Stop rot!
I had a deer cape that was freezer burnt real bad and I applied stop rot to it and ended up with a beautiful cape. as of now I an the only taxidermist in this area that uses it. the other local taxidermist don't know what they are missing or they just want to sell their customers anouther cape . I literaly saved a cape that was so bad that the taxidermist who trained me would have thrown it away.
Like bill said stop rot is the way to go,can't go wrong...
I've shot plenty of Hogs - but this year I want to try to get one mounted (by a taxidermist). I've caped Deer for mounting before but I need to know what are the specifics to know to prep a Hog for a cape mount?
thanks
