hog mights?

i recently got 3 hogs to mount(shoulder)ive fleshed, salted, pickeld,shaved, pickeld , degreased tanned. still have things attached to hair on 2 of them. look like big lice eggs? i mounted 1 and spent alot of time with brush, comb, and thinned out black paint to make it look respectfull. is there a better way, please help. i searched the arcives, didnt find anything on hog mights or lice?

if you are wanting to find out what you actually have, go to Google,
enter anoplura, when you get search returns, then enter nits in search within results. If that doesn't get you the identification, enter bot fly, once you get returns, enter swine in search within results. Maybe you can be the one to put it in the archives, but it is probably already there, somewhere, if you enter the right keywords.

found it under lice on hogs, ill try gas. a little sceptical if its going to work, these suckers are on for the ride.

...without losing hair I wanna know how you did it. Those critter eggs are welded on there and all my customers that have hogs with that problem except that their hog will have them on there when the hog comes back to them mounted. Airbrushing helps, but if you got too many of them and not enough hair (like our hogs here) then its not worth airbrushing. And like I've said before, hog can get away with being "ugly" easier than most critters we stuff. Ugly is what makes a hog beautiful!

I DOnt take them off its more natural! No matter what you do to a hog its not going to be preety! Heck i even put mud on the snout and various places on the mount. Customers love it! I'm in central Texas and we got tons of the nasty things. Good Luck guys!
