differant countries call same and similar things by differant names so sarcastic or rude comments about people not knowing what something is called are'nt very nice! My daughter and I have been trying to work out what Elmer's glue is also and have come to the conclusion that it is the equivelent to what we in Australia call Clag. basically what is used as standard in most class rooms around the world. Please try and remember people that There are NO stupid questions, only stupid answers. And what's it really going to cost you to be nice? with love from Australia.

What was that all about?
You're right, it's the plain old white glue used in school. Works on wood and paper.
That's an urban legend that there are no stupid questions. There are MILLIONS of them and then there are other millions of STUPID Questions. Just like, "Honey, do I look fat in this dress?" STUPID or "If I get Safetee Acid on my hands, will it burn me?" DUMB AND STUPID And then there's always, "Can I tan a snake with anti-freeze/gas/turpentine/shoe polish/oatmeal/whatever?" STUPID
In fact, I want to go on record as coining a new catch phrase: "People who claim there is no such thing as a stupid question usually have just asked one."
Check out what I found along with 178,000 other similar entries on Google just by typing in "Elmer's Glue":
Elmer's Glue-All - Blick Art MaterialsAll-purpose, non-toxic white glue dries fast and clear, and won't stain. Bonds wood, paper, cloth, pottery, and all porous materials.

There are NO stupid questions, just stupid people that ask questions.
