I want to due a shoulder mount bear I shot, and need some help!
Would using dawn soap help degrease the hide if left submerged for a while? I want to pickle the hide from home, if you have a solution plz submit it. After the pickle bath, I want to use a soft tan product that I use for my deer hides. Does this sound crazy to anyone?
PLZ submit steps for the pickle bath.

I tan most of my bears for lifesize and shoulder mounts. I use Rittels super solvent for the degreaser and it works better than any I have tried. On the pickle I use the safetee acid. And my best results have been with the ez-100. I wouldn't recommend a cream tan to you on a bear but others may say different so I will say its my opinion only. Good luck to you, Mark
