artificial water

Poured my first shallow pool, two layers about 1/4" each. The final pour is tacky and has some small dimples in it. I am presently putting heat to it. Any suggestions what the dimples are from and how to get rid of them? Thanks

that I used WASCO Artificial Water and cured at 1 1/2%. The room it was in to cure was cool, probably 60.

Warm it up.

The dimples are occaisionally an indication that you did not mix it enough.Mix and then pour into second container and mix again.Don't mix in a waxed cup. It would kick off better at 80 degrees. High humidity can also cause problems.

Between layers

After looking at it more closely, I find that the dimples are actually between layers and not on the top. I thought I could just brush on a thin layer but that isn't going to work. I did mix in a plastic cup and not waxed. Next time I'll make sure it is a lot warmer. Thanks
