im use'n urethane foam to form a rock for a pedrstal mount.( to hide the connecting rod ) .it's a two part mixture and my question is...what is the best mixture for the best results (as far as expansion) ? it doesnt give that info in the instructions . should be it 50/50 cuz both cans are the same size ?

Check your instructions. Most of the expanding urethanes are 50/50 by WEIGHT not volume.

50 / 50 mix

very important 50 / 50 by weight pre-heat the foam and it will rise more.
If you add ( 1 or 2 ) drops of water right after you add the (A) to the (B) it will foam a lot , this foam is not as dence, but good for scenery , then after you cut all the details into the foam that you want , paint white glue over it (litely) add add sand or let dry and paint.

Wrong

Most taxidermy foams at least in the States, are formulated specifically to be mixed 50/50 by volume.Thats why you get two equal amounts of each side. They weigh differently and if it were formulated to be weighed, you would get different amounts of each.Years ago when we used foam made for other industries,it had to be weighed.Nowadays it is formulated just so we don't have to do that.At any rate, whichever foam you buy should have specific instructions with it telling you whether you need to measure by volume or weight. And when you measure,do it fairly precisely.A bad mix of foam can be a real problem in some projects.Read your instructions.
