What kind of base

are you using? One you've made yourself or a pre-made base such as the base made by Anthony Eddy? If you're using a pre-made, I would use white glue and water, mist the base, and add oak leves or pine needles before the glue dries, and add some morrels for an added bonus. These products can all be bought from any supplier. If you're making you own base, by pouring foam, add the materials to the foam before it dries. WASCO sells a great video by Frank Newmyer on maiking turkey bases.., well worth the money.

Quickstand

I use Quickstand sold by Research Mannikins. It can be applied thin and anything will stick to it. It can be colored. I can make it to be whatever habitat I desire, from tropics to desert, swamp to alpine.
