Never Say Dye on Prickly Pear Cactus

I am building a habitat for a Rio Turkey killed in South Texas.
Has anyone used Never Say Dye on cactus and or small mesquite trees? If so, what color, evergreen or grass green?

Doesn't matter

You really can't go wrong on the color of a prickly pear cactus as they are different at different altitudes, seasons, moisture, etc.. I live in Arizona and you can find prickly pear cactus down in the low desert as well as up north where I live (5,000 ft +). The color varies from green, green with yellow, light purple, etc...

I would pay more attention to the spines sticking out. Most that I have seen are not correct.
