This is a free country isn't it?

For all you folks who resorted to blasting JohnC for his tremendous offer and then insulting him by calling him names.... get a life.

How ironic for you to go around and blast the NTA for this 100% thing and then turn around and tell John what he should/shouldn't do. JohnC is free to offer assistance to whoever he wants. He is a lifetime member of the NTA and if he wishes to help folks who support an organization that he believes in: then that is his right and none of your business. If you want to attend his shop, then join the NTA and start writing. JohnC there are a lot of us that support your decision. Hang in there. I sure wish it was mandatory for folks to use their full name and e-mail address here. That might knock off 90% of the name-calling and personal attacks.

Well put Dave, I too feel that John's offer was highly commendable and he has the right to put whatever restictions he deems fit on his highly unselfish offer. I see you both as a credit to this industry.

dave, simply put, john c has brought on whatever hostility going his way on his own by his own name calling and labelling of people! i couldn't give two s--ts what john does with his life or business and he's more than welcome to take his taxidermy knowledge and shove it!

DON (one of the deadwood scabs, etc.)

Nice............... By the way I do not think that John invented the name "scab"? and he did not specifically call anyone anything... so in a way you named yourself? You obviously do not know JohnC, he has been one of the biggest supporters to this site and I know he has helped out many, many folks (including yours truly). You obviously know everything and do not need his help, good that will just free up more of his time to help someone like me. Good Day

I belive if you check JOhn c posting for free lessions, he did call us trying to learn the art of taxidermy that are not members SCABS! and deadwoods. If JOhn c wants to talk like this should be run like a union than maybe he should step up tp the plate and organize one.As for JOhn c knowledge, I enjoy reading all his post and replys he is a very smart and artistic man and has helped me out very much and I have not even asked him any questions yet.As for what we belive in or have not yet even checked into I think we should get along and continue to help each other out.And someday we will all agree on everything that goes on in the world of taxidermy. To JOhn C I wish you could put this behind you and continue to reply to the post and share your talent with your brothers and sisters of taxidermy.

Thank you Rob

Kritroph, thanks again lately for your help on my test specimens
It is really helping! I really want to get licensed and get to
be the best I can. Most of the people here have helped in one way or another.
Directly or indirectly. I joined the NY assoc.(Though I live in PA)
My licensed teacher is part of it and suggested I do so...not only
to be able to compete someday but for the vast knowledge that gets
put out at the conventions. People, with a common goal, get together
teach...and learn(according to Mr. Yox dance alot also). Thats worth it
to me. I want to be apart of an association...if I have to pay
80$ to the NTA and 25 or so to a State so be it...but we surley
to not need another form of government in our lives. Just a place to
compete, learn and support others who are doing the same. Good luck to all of you.

Don, once again your wisdom speaks volumes. Sounded like a "raspberry/gas?" and we all know where that comes from.
