after you've tried them both.
I use both. Depending on the time I want to spend on a hide or the type of mount I want to end up with. I sometimes use Knoblocks for thin skins like mink, etc. but when I get into the heavier stuff like deer or moose skin I use Rittels. My personal opinion is that Rittel's tan is a better tan and if I was to be limited to just one process it would be his, since I believe that a soaking tan is a better tan than just a paint on type. Just my opinion....JL
