I don't care for Ted Nugent, his music, nor his arrogance, I did think the previous was well written.
More people should speak their minds like Ted, He makes more sense than most. People today worrie about what other people think. If that was the definition of a bad American than I am one too. And what is so arrogant about telling it like it is.
Nuge didn't write it. Sure sounds like him though. This has been circulating around for awhile. I frequent his bulletin board and it has been established that he didn't write it. I think it's a spin-off of a piece written by George Carlin. Nevertheless, it's an interesting and humorous piece.
I last saw hom about a year ago, truely an amazing show. In the middle of a hard rocking show, he decided to slow things down a bit and play a tribute to the father of archery, Fred Bear. I've had an oportunity to speak directly to Ted, and can say you will probably never meet a man more sincere in his beliefs. I repect those who don't agree with Ted's views, but I also believe that Ted's presence does an unmeasureable amount of good in fighting those that believe the right to own a gun should be that of the organized military alone. Of course, this is only my opinion, which may be influenced by the fact that I don't care for Garth Brooks ;)~
Nugent's way of communicating "in your face" is rude, disrespectful, and offensive. His support for the consumptive uses of wildlife is something I share with him, but his attitude is so arrogant and mean
that his points get lost in the venom. It's too bad some youngsters admire (and emmulate) his sarcastic and nasty way of communication.
I love rock & roll and I love hunting. But thats all me and Theodore have in common!
