You've got a klez virus

Redneck, You've got one of several viruses that are going around. Do you have the latest Norton Anti-virus update. I believe it is capable of cleansing your system. Don't wait to long to rid your computer of it. Another of is WinMun32/klez@home. I received this one 5 weeks ago, luckily Norton caught it before it wormed its way into my systems files. Good luck.

Sounds like you have it.

try this, place the number 1000,

Place the number 1000,and name it "wormalert", in your address book. Now when a virus tries to email the people in your address book, you will get a response, ( The following problems occurred while processing your request:wormalert- This is not a known member.)
It should not mail any emails from your address book. Try it, send out an email to 5 people, including to wormalert, after you enter it in your address book. The email will not be sent because of that error, and the virus might still be in your computor, but it won't send emails. That is why, once a week, you should run virus or worm scans on your computor.

Thanks for this reminder...Kim Kommando once mentioned this on her Radio Show and in her Newsletter...<www.KimKomando.com>... I'll add it to my book when I get my computer online.

Red, it might not be you! The Kleze works out of the address book inthe computer. It sends out random e-mails from whosever computer has you addres in the book. I just got a couple from people, who i have never e-mail before, nor have they e-mailed me. Itcame from someone who has our e-mail addresss in their computer

I get at least 50 mail returns a day. Not sent by me. This virus is a pain in the neck big time.
