How rare are blond raccoons? And what part of the country do they come from?

I've heard a lot about them, they are starting to get caught more oftan. They are probably a little more un-rare then an albino.

My husband is a trapper and he has brought home quite a few off color coon. The blond is very pretty and so are the red ones. I have always liked the off colors more then then the normal color but in the fur trade they are not worth anything.

i work with a fur buyer who buys over 500,000 coons ever year out of 500,000 they get about 8 or 10 that should give you an idea of how rare blonde coons are. albino coons are probally 1 in 500,000 even more rare are what i call red but these coons are more reddish brown i saw a few in northern wisconsin near horicon marsh there must have been a strain of them years ago I've been looking for one of these for 7 years if any one can supply me with one let me know. one guy on the taxidermy net said i got one it's really red i want x amout for it it was skinned frozen i set it of to be dried and tannedit came back and it was as blonde as they come not re oh well hope i answerd your question oh ya blonde coons have many sades frm bright yellow to blonde like a women light brown. i have a coon thats silver like an old lady head

Like all blondes, theyre about as...ahh, never mind the joke. I see most blonde and white coons in captivity where theyre raised for those off colors. Personally Id like to aquire a real nice, average sized blonde coon, as well as a red coon. I call reds a rust color. Blonde with rust marks in place of the black marks. Both usually have liver colored nose, lips and pads, just like dogs.

You just type in the Words in all CAPITAL LETTERS that you want to use in the space where it says..."RESPONSE TITLE". The software takes care of the rest...like I typed "MIKE" above.
