Was just thinking how a bird taxidermist
can pull up stakes a go any where?
meaning If some people got a lot of bird work that needs to be done
One can get around all the shipping and handling
by just going to were all the work Is mount everything up
and wha-la your done..the rest of It could easily be taken care of
later unwrapping mesh and stuff like that putting on bases
and hand painting becks and legs

Then travel to different shops for two week periods.
Yes it will involve travel, getting your stuff organized and most of all you have to be paid the day before you leave. This way you can cash the check at their bank! Saves tons of headaches!
... a "migratory" bird taxidermist?
(Sorry - I couldn't help myself!)
Definitely couldn't do migratories las! Your license only allows you to do migratory in your state.
Besides that I think I'd rather pay the shipping than put someone up and feed them....LMAO
You dont have to be licensed to work for another taxidermist when you are working at the other taxidermist shop.
The shop owner is the responsible one for the birds and the Mia. license.
I will bet even in PA, its legal for some to work in the other persons shop without a license.
The Migratory bird permit is only if you are taking in Waterfowl at the place you you normally do work.
i.e. Like if I came to your shop and did some work, its totally legal for me to do the birds, you logged them in, you are the responsible person for the Fed. Log book.
Ya See I told you?
yep, John I consider myself brain dead...LMAO
