I saw that some of you were talking about how well the new Tech Bond worked. I decided that I should give it a try. Let me tell you, it kicks butt on ears and holes in the face. I get in a lot of late summer deer that have scabs inside of their ears and when you remove the cartilage, it rips holes where the scabs are. I hate sewing that up. Tech bond is awesome for fixing these holes. However, I tried it a couple of times on holes in the neck. The first time I tried it was on a hole that was 2 inches long. It seemed ok until I mounted the deer. Any pulling opened it right up. Yesterday, I had another neck hole that I thought I would try the tech bond on again. This time I used a strip of leather on top of the hole with tech bond on the hole and the underside of the leather strip. Once again, any pulling on the hide opened it up. Is there some way to make this stuff hold on areas that are pulled on or is it made only for the face and ears? Thanks for any info!
