Brenda and I got a new puppy and would like some help choosing a name.
She is a little doll and we're having trouble deciding on what to call her. We have two males Jake & Gus, but the female just seems harder to decide on.
Here's a link to a photo:

Such a nice name isnt it! Here COOT...Here boy! Kinda has a little ring to it...
That's what I would name my little girl, but we got a little boy and his name is Ernie; hubby named him, wanted to call him Killer, of course I objected.
Here's the kicker; Ernie (not Killer) is a little Yorkie! LOL
My daughter has one just like her and her name is Jade. Would go great with Gus and Jake?
How'd you like that play on words and color Paul. Bet you won't find that one in your Funk & Wagnalls.
I heard this name a while back and loved it. Her name was Sweetie...I don't know, it just fit. I also like Bristle, Kaluha...Sorry if the spelling is wrong. You'll find a great name for her....She is so cute!
Then when you call her you can say? Naw forget it, bad idea LOL
And when she is in a puppy frenzy, you can issue an "Amber Alert!"
I named my little fem, setter, Chie = sweet in Turkish
my other i named Tess
id call her
that would be real fum
i little torturous though
come here, stay
come here, stay
come here, stay
come here, stay
i cant make this dog stay put
good luck she a cute one
You got jake and gus, now you need Woodrow F Call. Or Newt. That way you keep it in the family.
Moo Goo gia pan, Kung pow chow, General Toa's Terriakyi,
dung Choa (charred dog)
Sung to a Gordan Lightfoot song.
The dogs in the kettle at the Peking Moon.
Thats the place I eat everyday at Noon.
Garfleids purring on my fork, yea he's purring on my fork.
I recently lost two labs that were 10/15 years old, and the female's name was Ladie. Her daughter, Lokie, just had 8 pups yesterday (lost 2). Ladie's full name was Ladie Timberwolf Morgaine, and Lokie's real name is Lakota. Ladie was our 2nd female lab, and it only seemed fitting that she had the name also, somehow it just fit, and your lil darlin there just looks like a real Lady :)
Love em while they're here, as they are never here long enough for our lifetimes.
It's a girl isn't it. Then i guess it would have to be Lorena. :-) Newt is still a nice name though.
To go with the Lonesome Dove Theme of Jake, and Gus, the girl that traveled with them was Laurie.....
just named my llama that
you can still stay with the Lonesome Dove theme and call her "Poke"...LOL
I figured it was a human girl, then I saw yours and Brendas name and I was ready to send flowers!
She's definitely a Chloe...pronounced Clo-ee. Give her a smooch for me, she's a cuddlebug.
The way I name'em is I call all my dogs "Puppy" until they turn a year old, then I just call'em "dog". When they piss me off I just add "dumb" infront of the given name. "Come here you dumb dog". They love ya all the same. Try that with the wife and see what happens! So, I'm kinda with John C on this one I guess.
she looks like a little angel, amazing grace , you should call her gracie.
I'm thinking Darlin' would go nicely :)
...any name that is similar to the kids. I cant keep all the names straight around here yet! Heck, sometimes if the kids are really acting up, theyll even answer to the dogs name if they think Im mad enough. You never saw 4 kids stop barking, sit or go lay down as fast!
My favorite female dog name that we had was Lupe' ...I prefer fun names that are easy to "sing" and play with when you fuss over them. Having said that, Im still going to name one of our deer Paul, just for sh*ts and giggles...
If you ever get another male dog you could name him Felony.
That way you could have Mr. Felony and Miss Demeanor.
sorry ..... <G>
She looks like a little doll so call her Dolly.Good looking pup.
My-ka had a silver fox I named that.
will earn it's keep in what it can save on dish soap. Looks to me like she could really lick a plate.
Call her Soapie.
She is the color of Bailey's Irish cream in coffee
Butterscotch. Ya gotta go with something nobody else has. We are naming our next chocolate lab Brazil.
What about calling her Taxi.
After making my post then going back and reading them all, I like the Lonesome Dove theme, and I think Poke sounds good.
I think Paul, Jake, and Gus will all agree with the Poke, name that is.
Great looking dog, I don't think anyone will be poking fun of her about her looks. She even looks like she might have some brains, poking out of that head there.
knikita would be the best name i think different any way !
We have a miniature collie registered as "Golden Valley Romeo", and now we're looking to get a "Julliette" for our little Romeo. Or you could just try "susie"...Good Luck-Susan
