Other compressor problems

We bought a 6 hp. Campbell-Hausfeld. It leaks air big time around the control housing. (Black box containing the pressure switch, etc.) It also apparently blew the oil cap off, too. Anyone else have these problems?

Blown pistons

I had a 2HP oil-less Campbell-Hausfeld around 1996 which blew out a piston 2x's. I then decided to buy a Ingersoll-Rand(with oil), which I am now very satisfied with.

I have a Sears compressor that sounds like

Baghdad is being bombed when it kicks on and runs. Does that count? I even have it in a separate room and it still is loud!

With the big Craftman compressors, the automatic switch keeps burning off.
Don't know who makes them for Sears ,is it Campbell-H ?
