heres funny but accurate thought on the political mess

I was half listening to the TV the other day, and saw Tom Selleck being interviewed. I normally dont care much for what "movie stars" have to say about real life, but for some reason I listened this time. I was surprised at how intelligent Selleck was. Although the interviewer tried to pin him down more than once, Selleck was smooth, and forthright. Basically, among many other strong points, he mentioned his dissappointment over how divided we have become. He also stated that he has actually sat down to dinner with "the enemy"...the other political party, and that he has friends he doesnt agree with politically. He felt that regardless of who wins the election, or which party, that the country will do its best to move ahead. After listening to him, I thought about it. I wish you folks who post political stuff in here might have seen him on the program I saw, especially those of you who hate me in here, or are just uninformed. I hope to someday have the forethought, wisdom and poise that Selleck demonstrated...

What a guy! I heard him on a few talk shows several years ago and felt the same thing about him! I bet a lot of the younger Taxis don't even know who he is though... Li-Li :-)

I guess you guys don't mind he's gay?

I think you are wrong about that but why do you point it out if you don't have any problems with it . Did you talk with him during a protest march or something ?

Cecil is just fooling around

He has been married twice. To women- models at that! Has two children, one is biological. Been married to the second one now, for 17 years- did a look up on the net.

Sorry, I thought the National Enquirer was all true!

Tom Selleck being gay would be just enough to put me over the edge and give up on men all together. What a waste that would be! I think I would have to join a convent.

Gay? Cecil might wish!

Tom Selleck is not gay Cecil you idiot! Sooooooo liberal of you to have the runs in the mouth. Just because he's a Hollywood superstar that DOESN'T womenize, he gay? Tom Selleck is a good decent guy who happens to be straight. He's also a hell of a beach vollyball player. Check and see for yourself at Ala Moana Beach park whenever he's back home in Hawaii. You'll find him playing with us "little people". Yeah, he likes women... and women like him.

Liberals like to try and seperate conservative minded folks from their conservative stars by making ridiculous accusations. They don't mind that if in the process they slander a good man's image. They always say "he's gay" and then they follow it with "it don't matter to me but..." Then shut up if it don't matter to you!
