This is Scary...

A political message from last week submitted to the Taxidermy Industry Forum has recently generated a lot of responses. "Iraq prisoner photos send shockwave - what a joke ! (05/04/2004)" has suddenly become very active with posts from new people that I didn't recognize from the txaidermy industry.

To try to figure out why this was happening, I typed "iraq prisoner photos" into Google and got a huge shock. The post from last week's Taxidermy Net Forums was listed 27th out of 390,000 links (on the third page) right between USA Today and the Washington Post web sites!

Whoo! I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.

Mr. Edwards, I am not the least bit surprised.

I have pointed out a time or two, in recent weeks, that THIS IS taxidermy.net, and it probably is in the Archives. I was tongue in cheek to a degree.

Google loves your work. I have been truly expecting computer science classes to be modeled around what you have done.

Google currently shows 46,000 (that is FORTY-SIX THOUSAND) cached pages for taxidermy.net. Last count I read, Google supplies 100 lesser search engines with search results.

You, Sir, have developed a true world wide web heavy weight, and should take a bow.

Its Mr. Edwards site and he can allow what he wishes.

Why is it you hide and don't use your name? WHINER?

Let's out the in perspective a bit.

Ken's rules are you don't have to be regs. to use this site.

Then you whine about Ken making a post and letting everyone know what he found out about this site, which cost him a lot of time and money to keep running.

You hide because of what? You cannot handle the what people would say about you for being such a coward to not use your name.

Sure is easy to whine and cry when you dont have to face the people that read the forums!

Real taxidermist? Let us see some of your work, let us know who you are? Maybe your idea of a real taxidermist is only your underrated opinion?

I think you lack the intestinal fortitude to put your real name on this post or any other post. You probley like Hanoi Jane and Traitor Kerry too.

Attention Ken

Do not change a thing

This response submitted by anonymous on 05/13/2004 at 12:57. ( ) 64.201.200.52

because any changes would amount to a poorer website...HONESTLY..
This site Is working fine the way It Is

Actually I think we need one

This response submitted by DaveT on 05/13/2004 at 22:49. ( ) 66.205.109.132

We need a category for taxidermists who are really musicians in the closet. Never realized that pianos, guitars, mics and harmonicas were tools of the trade.
