That's even better Cecil

ONLY FOUR. Clinton managed to get us involved in dozens of little skirmishes and hot spots and never responded to a single terrorist attact. Four seems like a pretty fair trade off.

Cl;inton did blast off!

This response submitted by jim on 05/20/2004 at 15:45. ( )

George you forgot Clinton bombed a asprin factory but I guess that was not a response to terrorists but a distraction from his affair. The moral decline of America is proven in the poles that Kerry is even now.

This response submitted by Michelle W on 05/20/2004 at 15:49. ( blacktail21@hotmail.com )

I would rather have Bush in office over Kerry any day. Kerry is a big cry baby and complainer. Who wants that head of state. People who take their freedom for granted are the ones in oposition of the war in Iraq. We should have overthrown Sadam a long time ago. Bush is the only one so far with enough balls to get the job done!

Michelle W @ Michelle's Taxidermy

bush didn't send us to war...

This response submitted by Griz on 05/20/2004 at 17:16. ( )

Congress did.

Thanks Griz

Finally someone who knows how war is declared.... Cecil certainly does not. President Bush and the republicans at least do not try the childish tactic "they tricked me into it" Grow up dems

If you forgot, we were attacked on 9-11. You can either fight back or give up and pretend it never happened. I'll go with BUSH.

I find it ironic that people like [ ]

Are nameless cowards and for some reason fear posting their name. You're in America. Say what you want and take some responibility for it

Uh Michelle . . . .

This response submitted by Tony H. on 05/20/2004 at 22:37. ( )

Bush is the only one with the balls to get the job done?

What job exactly has he finished? Last I checked, the White House was scrambling for damage control in what is quickly becoming one of the biggest gaffes in international politics since the Iran Contra deal.

sorry about the spelling

Ever heard of the term Bush League?

Need I say more?

So many lies

This response submitted by Steve on 05/21/2004 at 11:51. ( )

You people need to get some facts straight here. Bush=bad Kerry=good. Seriously though, bush is doing a lousy job. He attacked a country that didnt do a friggin thing to us. 911 had NOTHING to do with Irraq, There is not one once of evidence linking iraq or saddam to 911. bush said they were an imminent threat...THEY WERE NOT. Its a lie. Plain and simple. He did not tell the truth. there are no WMDs. The person who attacked us is named Osama Bin Laden. He is still out there releasing tapes to his followers. he have not caught him. Instead of putting allof our efforts into capturing the person responsible, we went after someone else. Now we have over 130,000 troops in iraq, almost 800 americans dead, and the situation is getting worse. He have stirred up hatred of america in all parts of the world, and have become a recruiter for radical islam. We have a very rough time ahead of us, thanks to the incompetence and lies of george bush. VOTE KERRY!

Confused ?

This response submitted by Len on 05/21/2004 at 13:16. ( lengums@wi.rr.com )

To Steve, My questions is, if Iraq didn't have anything to do with 9-11, then how come we are fighting terrorists in Iraq? If Iraq was not an imminent threat, then why was President Clinton and John Kerry both stating that Iraq was an imminent threat that needed to be dealt with? On WMD's, why did both President Clinton and John Kerry stated that Iraq was a threat because of WMD's and needed to be dealt with? Thank GOD that President Bush doesn't stand by waiting for the terrorists to attack us here again, but instead is willing to risk his own presidentsy for us,to make sure we are safe here at home. Who cares if the other world countries don't like us, unless you want to live in a world of terrorism. If you recall history, you will find out that we spend a lot of our time and people defending and saving these countries that now don't like us.Because of President Bush, you are able to sit here now and talk with me.

I'll VOTE for BUSH.

He stirred up hatred

This response submitted by DaveT on 05/21/2004 at 17:30. ( )

Damn I thought we got attacked a few times prior to President Bush taking office. World Trade Center, Barracks, embassies, USS cole... any of these ring a bell? Didn't Bin Laden declare war on us during Clinton's watch. I thought our boys got attacked in Somolia? Once again Steve opens his mouth and crap cometh out.

This response submitted by A.C. on 05/22/2004 at 12:20. ( )

Steve has an extreme case of acute liberalcraniumupthearsus and he cannot control it and it cannot be fixed or reasoned with !

For the record

This response submitted by Tony H on 05/22/2004 at 18:21. ( )

I do not disagree with the ousting of Saddam. We should have done the job right the first time but there were constraints that I probably couldn't even pretend to understand. BUT we were LIED to about the reason for the war and we're in a situation that's getting worse by the minute. That's just poor leadership at the highest levels.

Dave is right here. We were attacked before. Was Iraq involved? Maybe indirectly but to draw the conclusion between those attacks and Hussein may be stretching it a bit.

There were no WMDs. There are no WMDs. But Hussein was a bastard and I feel satisfaction in his removal. But what do we do now? Keep sending men in to die for no real reason? Spread our troops even thinner?

It's funny so many of you tout Bush for making this country safe from terrorists yet we are FAR MORE vulnerable now than ever because we have NO MILITARY left at home. Make sense to you?

No TnoyH

This response submitted by DaveT on 05/22/2004 at 19:02. ( )

You set up a democracy in the middle and hope it spreads to surrounding areas as fast as the extremist Islamic crap is spreading.

I know what you do not do, you do not turn your head and hope it goes away
