Well, I plan to retire my homemade wire wheel flesher, going to get a store bought one. Need some recommendations. I only do a few birds each year, will mostly use it for small mammals and such. Who's flesher would yall recommend? PS. I've already read the archives, any new comments or products out there?

Get Van Dykes Adjustable Narrow flesher...pretty cheap, built well, and works very well. Just my 0.02.

Authentic Supplies, James Edgar, in TN has some good wire wheel boxes. A variety of sizes, my favorite is his "turkey box". It more than accomodates a big bird and is made of easy to clean material.

Authentic is the way to go.

White plastic with a removable Plexiglas top. It lets you see what you are doing and cleans up with a paper towel. No squinting, no need to position a light so you can see what your doing, kida expensive, well worth it. Save a lot of time and frustration by spending a few extra bucks.
