You should hear the sob stories I get wanting to know if I can "FIX" their fish of a lifetime because they took it to the cheapest guy around that was "just starting out" and would give them a great deal. I have no sympathy for tightwads. They're my customer for ever after that.
In my studio I have a sign that reads:
"La competencia es buena, pero nosotros somos mas chingones"
Ask one of your Spanish-speaking friends what that means...

That sign was posted in Charlie Haynes shop (the founder of the NTA) and I'm not sure he didn't find it in J.W. Elwoods books even before that.
I had never seen it before. But I guess it has made its rounds. But it does ring true.
