(2004-11-14) -- The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals today ruled that while the U.S. Constitution forbids foreign-born California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger from serving as President of the United States, his stem cells could legally mount a White House bid.
"Since the governor's stem cells were technically born in the USA, they meet the constitutional standard," according to the 38-page ruling handed down today. "Any clones produced from these cells could serve as president, vice president, secretary of defense, or all of the above at the same time."
A Silicon Valley-based group planned to start running TV ads this week promoting a constitutional amendment to allow naturalized citizens to serve as Commander in Chief. The group cancelled the ads in the wake of the Ninth Circuit's ruling.
"Forget the constitutional amendment. Send in the clones," said a spokesman for the group. "We're thrilled at the prospect of a Schwarzenegger-Schwarzenegger national ticket."

You need to step outside and get some fresh air lol. What will they think of next
for president becuause he's a repubican? (If of course presidential requirments were changed)
He's for stem cell research, gun control, and pro choice -- everything you hated in Kerry. Be honest now.
I would vote for a horse turd before I would her, shes awhole
but if he won that , yes I probably would but not 100% sure. Kind of like you with Kerry , you didn't like him but once you were stuck with him what else ya gonna do as a liberal socialist !
but it's useless to explain it to you. But I now know you're not a man of principal.
you would know nothing about principal and second of all , I wouldn't believe anything you said so you are right in that regard , don't bother to explain it .
you are a man of principal and I'm not? Don't make me laugh. Is that why you keep posting these stupid political posts? The election is over -- get over it you won -- what more do you want?
I'll just remember your post next time you jibber about the right to life, you're against stem cells, and you're against gun control. If you vote for a man that is, you have no principal.
